Stokes Stevenson is the combination two long-time Utah based family offices focused on commercial real estate. Located in Salt Lake City, UT and with decades of combined experience in all different asset classes, Stokes Stevenson has been at the center of the Utah and Intermountain real estate development community. Through strong relationships with development partners, lenders, investors, cities, counties and vendors Stokes Stevenson has built a reputation in the industry for hard work, vision, creativity and integrity, As owners of projects and companies such as SLC Global Logistics Center, Roots Management Group, Vineyards Management, along with individual projects across Industrial, Office, Hotel, Multi Family, Affordable Housing, and Retail we are equipped to handle any opportunity we feel passionate about.
OUR TEAM

BRYAN STEVENSON
Bryan is a Founding Member and Managing Partner of SLC GLC, The largest master planned Industrial Global Logistics park in the state of Utah. He is primarily responsible for strategy, sourcing, underwriting and structuring new transactions. Throughout his career Bryan has acquired and developed over 5M sq. feet of CRE assets of all types including Industrial, Office, Multi-Family, Retail and Hospitality.
He is a Founder and sits on the Board of Directors of Roots Management Group, the 5th largest MHC owner and operator in the country with approximately $5B of AUM. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Wasatch Property Management group, a diversified Multifamily owner and operator in the western US.
Previously, Bryan founded Black Cliff Capital, an alternative asset investment platform and spent time at Colmena Group, Pronaia Capital Partners and Woodbury Corporation.
Bryan received a Master’s of Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Utah State University.

TRAVIS LISH
Travis is a Founding Member and Managing Partner of SLC GLC, a Founding Member and Managing Partner of Roots Management Group and is President of Stokes Family Properties. His primary responsibilities are government and community relations, deal sourcing and project management.
Previously, Travis worked at Woodbury Corporation as a Senior Project Manager running the largest Enhanced Use Lease in the Department of Defense at Hill Air Force Base, the 550-acre Falcon Hill – National Aerospace Research Park. Travis was also responsible for working with, and helping create, MIDA (a State Authority responsible for the municipal approvals and governance of Falcon Hill). In addition to MIDA Travis specialized in working with the State of Utah Congressional Delegation, and Utah State Legislature. The efforts of the team led to State support and funding of critical project infrastructure, and Air Force facilities.
Travis serves on the Foundation Board at Utah State University, where he has served as Vice-Chair and Chair, and received a Bachelor of Science, Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University.

ZACH SWENSON
Zach is a Development Associate for Stokes Stevenson. He previously worked as a Development Associate for CW Urban where he managed the due diligence, entitlement, and development process for single-family and multifamily developments —234 units; 7 projects.
Prior to joining CW Urban, Zach worked as an analyst and associate for OZ Impact Funds (Roots Management Group) where he played an integral role in the due diligence, underwriting, debt and equity sourcing, and asset management processes. As an early employee, he helped establish many standard operating procedures and source various third-party services used to acquire and manage manufactured housing communities. During his time there, OZ Impact Funds acquired 11,000+ units across 66 communities, 52 cities, and 16 states.
Zach attended Utah State University on a football scholarship (Safety) where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and minor in Real Estate. He was actively involved with the business school’s finance and real estate clubs and was a finalist in the Ivory-Boyer Intercollegiate Utah Real Estate Challenge.
Zach enjoys reading, guitar, horses, and all things sports and outdoors.

SAM NELSON
Sam is a Development Associate for Stokes Stevenson. Prior to joining he worked at Roots Management Group (formerly known as OZ Impact Funds) as a Senior Investment Analyst. While with Roots, Sam underwrote investments, created investment and debt memos, carried out due diligence site visits, and closed over $800 million in commercial real estate investment transactions.
Sam obtained his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University along with a minor in Chemistry. While attending school he worked as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs working in their Interest Rate Swaps Division. Sam was also a Pole Vaulter on the Utah State University Men's Track and Field team.
Sam enjoys spending time in the outdoors skiing, mountain biking, fly-fishing, camping, and golfing.

NATHAN STOKES
Graduated from Weber State University in Construction Management. Nathan oversees the property management of over one million square feet of real estate including retail, office, and industrial flex space. He also works on the management of construction projects. He holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, and is a member of the Utah chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
